Black Desert Online 'Eternal Winter' Expansion now live on PC

Pearl Abyss, South Korean developer and publisher behind the upcoming creature collecting game DokeV and action adventure Crimson Desert, is pleased to announce that it has officially launched Eternal Winter, the biggest expansion update for its flagship MMORPG Black Desert Online to date. Beginning today, all players who own the base game can explore a new region, pick a new player class called Drakania and embark on a quest to reach the peaks of the Mountain of Eternal Winter.

The Eternal Winter expansion introduces a new region called the Mountain of Eternal Winter, where players will venture into unknown lands to unravel a dark mystery. Throughout their journey, adventurers will get to meet new allies and old rivals, explore brand-new hunting grounds and embark on a host of activities including new boss fights, endgame locations and ice fishing. Players can now jump into the new region with their favourite character or Drakania, a brand new player class that wields a massive sword named Slayer and strikes fear into the hearts of her enemies.

To celebrate the launch of the new expansion, Pearl Abyss will be offering a complimentary Traveler Edition upgrade for free which will grant players access to Black Desert Online as well as the Eternal Winter expansion via the game’s official website and Steam. The offer will be available between April 6th and April 13th. Players who join the game can also start playing on a new season server, which is specifically designed to help progress character growth faster. Here, adventurers will receive various in-game rewards and buffs that will allow them to catch up and experience the latest content as fast as possible.
