WHY DO IT: Now is the perfect time to get gaming! And support people living with cancer, who need us now more than ever.
Cancer can affect anyone and receiving a diagnosis impacts every part of a person’s life, not just their health. But Macmillan is providing financial, physical and emotional support for people living with cancer.
Macmillan is almost entirely funded by donations and, with the number of people living with cancer constantly growing, we simply cannot continue to provide this support without the generosity of the public.
WHERE DO DONATIONS GO: Your donations will go towards supporting people living with cancer. We know that now, more than ever, our support is vital for people living with cancer.
£50 could help the Cancer Information Nurse Specialists on our Macmillan Support Line deal with a call or web enquiry
£100 could pay for Macmillan nurse for half a day, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support
£250 could help run a small Macmillan information and support centre for a day, helping people affected by cancer to find information and support
£500 could pay for a Macmillan social care worker or family support worker for 4 days helping patients, family members, and carers manage the social and practical problems of living with cancer.
