Publisher Top Hat Studios, Inc. and developer Skinny Frog have announced that cozy farming and creature-collecting adventure Ova Magica will make its console debut on 10 November 2026.
Following a surprise reveal during the Top Hat Studios Fall Showcase, the title will launch across Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The console release follows its full PC launch on Steam earlier in the year.
Ova Magica blends traditional farming and social simulation elements with classic creature-collecting JRPG gameplay. Players begin a new life on an overgrown countryside farm in Clover Town, where they raise, breed, and train cute blob companions. These blob creatures assist with day-to-day farm work, accompany players on wilderness expeditions, and fight alongside them in battles.
Beyond tending crops and building up the farmstead, players can explore Clover Town and interact with a colourful cast of local residents. The game features friendship and romance systems, alongside seasonal town festivals that evolve throughout the in-game year. For those seeking extra adventure, procedurally generated worlds offer opportunities to discover rare items, hidden treasures, and unique blob species.
