Developer Sassy Chap Games and publisher Team17 have announced that breakout indie hit Date Everything! has officially surpassed one million copies sold worldwide following its June 2025 launch.
The dating simulator invites players into a eccentric world where over 100 everyday household objects are transformed into fully romanceable characters. Featuring an all-star voice cast including Felicia Day, Johnny Yong Bosch, and Matthew Mercer, the title has quickly established itself as one of indie gaming’s standout success stories.
Co-created by voice actors Robbie Daymond and Ray Chase, Sassy Chap Games was built around a creator-led approach to game development and franchise building. Beyond its commercial milestone, the Los Angeles-based studio is represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to explore expanding its original intellectual properties across wider entertainment, consumer products, and new storytelling mediums.
To celebrate the milestone and thank its global community, Sassy Chap Games will host a special charity livestream on Wednesday, 18 November 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM PT across its official Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch channels. The broadcast will raise funds for both The Trevor Project and Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières), bringing together creators, cast members, and fans to celebrate the game’s success while supporting vulnerable communities worldwide.
