Publisher and developer Alawar has announced The Last Gas Station: Winter Resort, a major new DLC set to launch on Steam on 18 November 2026. Returning to the familiar roadside stop years after the events of the base game, players step into the paws of a brand new protagonist—an ambitious raccoon determined to transform the quiet outpost into a thriving winter destination.
Instead of catering exclusively to transient travelers stopping for a quick fuel fill-up, Winter Resort shifts the focus toward managing vacationing tourists who stay for entire holidays. Players will construct and operate a variety of attractions, including an outdoor ice rink, ski slopes, guided winter tours, and cozy guest accommodations.
The expansion places a heavier emphasis on resort management while seamlessly retaining the core store, register, and fuel-pump activities that fans loved in the original title. Players can clear out the old store's back rooms to open new revenue streams, establishing equipment rental counters and a bustling diner. Operational tasks include fitting guests with winter gear, ordering fresh ingredients, preparing meals for hungry vacationers, and maintaining power infrastructure.
As snowfall accumulates, players must actively clear pathways, service machinery, and keep facilities pristine for incoming waves of visitors. To handle the growing workload, the resort can be expanded and upgraded with automated helpers tasked with cleaning, restocking, and assisting guests. Despite the winter overhaul, the gas station remains operational—serving the local backwoods drivers who haven't yet made the switch to electric vehicles.
Founded in 1999, Alawar continues to build on its portfolio of popular midcore and casual titles, which includes the Beholder series, Do Not Feed the Monkeys, Karate Survivor, Necrosmith, and Wall World. Players can wishlist The Last Gas Station: Winter Resort on Steam today ahead of its official debut on 18 November.
