Independent developer Torn Banner Studios and Green Man Gaming proudly announced today that co-op zombie survival title No More Room in Hell 2 has officially surpassed 1 million total players, doubling its active player base in just one week since the title’s global 1.0 release across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
After two years in Early Access, the 8-player permadeath action horror has seen a massive turnaround success - doubling its total player base by bringing in 500,000 survivors with its 1.0 launch and console debut.
Driven by massive performance overhauls and community-focused development, player sentiment surged from mixed in Early Access to peaking at 90% in positive reviews across PC and console, alongside a massive PC player revival in the title’s 1-week launch window. No More Room In Hell 2 has continued to see chart success, outranking new AAA releases and major franchises including Madden, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Marvel titles in its first week of launch, reaching a high of #4 in top-selling games on Steam in the United States.
