Arknights: Endfield will release its next major content update, "Dreamscape of Wind and Snow," on September 2, 2026, as announced by publisher GRYPHLINE.

The update introduces Typhoeus, an Operator originating from the primary Arknights title. Functioning as a Nature Striker wielding a longbow, Typhoeus combines aerial mobility, crowd-control traps, and targeted Nature damage. Narrative content follows Typhoeus alongside the Endministrator and Chief Engineer Andre as they navigate the magical fog of the Snowy Forest outside Yinglung Pass, leading to an encounter with new regional boss Gloomwald's Rage. The region features a Nordic folk-electronic soundtrack composed in collaboration with Finnish musician Vilma Jää.

On September 24, the update expands with Suiming, a new puzzle-driven map built around a repeating 15-minute time loop. As environmental tides rise and fall, players must navigate shifting city layouts to collect components required to repair the Waking Bell before the arrival of the Blight Tide. Progression retains gathered components across loop resets, allowing players to piece together environmental narrative clues over time.

Simultaneously launching on September 24, the Purrchena Tribute Event allows players to unlock new Operator Purrchena, a Physical Defender, alongside her signature weapon, Dessert Moment. Purrchena utilizes a deployable shield to protect teammates while dropping gift boxes that provide health recovery and supporting status effects. Completing all six event missions provides sufficient resources to fully upgrade the Potential stats for both the character and weapon without charge.

Additional supporting content scheduled throughout the version includes the Trial of the Bow, Chubby Lung Attacks, Runners’ Steeplechase, and fresh Echoes of War seasonal rotations.

Developed by HYPERGRYPH, Arknights: Endfield launched on January 22, 2026, as a cross-platform action RPG featuring real-time combat and base-building mechanics. The free-to-play title is available on PlayStation 5, PC via its dedicated launcher and Epic Games Store, as well as iOS and Android, with a Steam release currently listed for wishlisting.
