Developer Wristwork and publisher Tiny Dragon have officially released Pigeon: A Love Story on Steam, the App Store, and Google Play. The full-scale avian romance title debuted on 6 August 2026 to coincide with the start of the Yogscast-backed Tiny Teams festival, a week-long Steam event celebrating solo developers and micro studios.

The cozy simulator places players in the wings of a lonely pigeon searching for their soulmate across life-sized urban environments. Built using authentic real-world map data and Wristwork’s PIGEON-SIM™ TECH, the game features five full-scale metropolises: London, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo, and New York. Each city is populated by millions of independently simulated birds, challenging players to explore the concrete jungle, collect famous landmarks, and land on hidden graffitied rooftops in search of "The One."

Gameplay revolves around flying through the cityscape and calling out to potential partners. Players can use their actual microphone to coo out loud as a mating call, navigating real-world brush-offs written and submitted by the gaming community. Beyond the main campaign, completing the core game unlocks a procedurally generated city, ensuring endless skylines to explore. The title also offers two-player co-op modes, allowing friends to either search for each other across the expansive cities or team up to hunt for love together. An original ambient soundtrack by Madwreck accompanies the experience.

Wristwork, a UK-based studio founded in 2024, designed the title with a focus on concept-driven indie experiences. The release is published by Tiny Dragon, an independent publishing and consultancy firm also established in 2024.

Pigeon: A Love Story is available now on PC via Steam with Steam Deck support, featuring a launch discount. The title has also launched on iOS and Android devices via the App Store and Google Play, featuring the London map in the base mobile game alongside additional city add-ons.
