Saber Interactive, in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, has revealed an action-packed gameplay trailer for Turok: Origins. Scheduled for release this fall, the fast-paced sci-fi shooter breathes new life into the legendary dinosaur-hunting franchise. The title is set to launch across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, offering both solo and cooperative gameplay options.
The newly released footage provides an extensive look at the treacherous environments, formidable enemies, and specialized arsenal that define the reborn property. Players step into the role of the mystical Order of the Turok, heroic guardians tasked with protecting the galaxy from a combined threat of ferocious dinosaurs and hostile alien forces. The narrative unfolds across the Lost Lands, a beautifully dangerous world filled with dense jungles, ancient ruins, and hidden extraterrestrial landscapes.
Combat in Turok: Origins seamlessly blends first-person and third-person perspectives. To survive the onslaught, players can unlock and upgrade a vast arsenal of futuristic weapons, ranging from standard shotguns and sniper rifles to plasma firearms and experimental alien technology. True to the franchise's roots, the signature bow also makes a return.
Additionally, players can collect items known as Echoes to unlock unique abilities, allowing for deep combat customization to suit individual playstyles.
