Following the breakout success of the original 2021 title—which surpassed 400,000 copies sold—publisher PQube and developers Secret Level Studios and Twin Hearts have officially announced Kitaria Fables 2. Revealed during the Galaxies Spring Showcase, the highly anticipated sequel is set to bring its signature blend of action RPG combat and farming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
A New Journey in Arkadera
Set after the events of the first game, Kitaria Fables 2 transports players to the Arkadera Peninsula, a remote region where nature has reclaimed the Empire's former outposts. The story follows two brand-new protagonists: Alice Skylar, an ambitious Royal Army Pathfinder, and her plucky local guide, Dusty Tuftkin. Together, they join the Royal Academy Expedition Team to reopen fabled errand houses and restore order to the wilderness.
Evolving the Formula
The sequel introduces several significant quality-of-life improvements designed to deepen immersion while reducing the friction of the first title:
Unfixed Camera: A new dynamic camera system offers a much broader view of the vibrant landscapes.
