The frozen horizons of the North are calling. Announced during the latest Future Games Show, developer TomorrowHead Studio has confirmed that its highly anticipated narrative adventure, WILL: Follow The Light, will launch on 28 April 2026. The game is set to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, bringing a cinematic, Unreal Engine 5-powered experience to next-gen platforms.

A Perilous Journey of Fatherhood

In WILL: Follow The Light, players step into the boots of Will, a lighthouse keeper stationed on a lonely, windswept island in the northern latitudes. His solitary life is upended by a frantic radio transmission: a disaster has struck his hometown, and his son is missing. Driven by desperation and hope, Will boards his sailing yacht, the Molly, to navigate the treacherous Arctic waters and bring his son home.

Realism Meets Revelation

Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game promises a visually arresting depiction of the northern wilderness. TomorrowHead Studio has focused heavily on immersive traversal mechanics that go beyond simple movement. Players must master realistic sailing to cross the icy seas and command dog sleds to navigate the snowy trails of the mainland.

The gameplay is anchored by puzzles rooted in real-world logic. To survive and progress, players will need to chart their courses using authentic weather stations and uncover secrets hidden within the environment. This isn't just a survival game, however; it is a "story-driven puzzle adventure" that uses environmental storytelling and a haunting, experimental soundtrack to explore the complex bond between fathers and sons.

A New Chapter for TomorrowHead

"We are excited to announce the imminent release of WILL: Follow the Light," said Roman Novikov, Founder and Game Director at TomorrowHead Studio. "We hope players will enjoy the journey when it launches next month."

As the April release date approaches, eager adventurers can now wishlist the game on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Marketplace. With its blend of high-fidelity graphics and emotional depth, WILL is shaping up to be one of the standout indie titles of the spring.
