PIGFACE reveals new content update for March 12th

As part of PIGFACE’s ongoing Early Access journey, indie developer titoloves you and horror publisher DreadXP have shared that the next update for their high-octane shooter launches next week, on March 12th. The Penitentiary & Kicking Update adds new content and mechanics, as well as quality-of-life and bug fixes.



Since its Early Access launch in September 2025, PIGFACE has received praise for its aesthetic, varied weapons allowing for different playstyles, and its polish, especially as an EA title, earning it a 96% overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam. Alongside the announcement of the upcoming update, Tito and DreadXP have revealed the development roadmap, outlining new content for the coming months as the game approaches its 1.0 launch later this year.

The Penitentiary & Kicking Update adds a new story level taking place in a prison rave and a subway station death trap bonus level. Tito has also added new weapons, a new special ability mask - the pink Cowgirl Hat - which provides buffs to pistol gameplay, and a highly requested ability: KICKING. As with The Mall Update, this adds new ways to Get The Job Done. Additionally, PIGFACE will be getting two new cutscenes, plus the option to skip cutscenes, and a handful of QoL tweaks and bug fixes.
