Kakao Games and Ocean Drive Studio have released a brand new gameplay video for their highly anticipated physics-based medieval zombie survival simulator, God Save Birmingham, showing off new features coming to the game’s Closed Alpha Test later this month.
The official Closed Alpha Test for God Save Birmingham will take place over two sessions:
Phase 1: For Existing Pre-Alpha Testers Only - Runs from 19 February to 23 February 2026
Phase 2: For New and Existing Testers - Runs from 26 February to 2 March 2026
New players wishing to take part in Phase 2 can find all of the details and sign up information for the Closed Alpha Test now on Steam.
In the new God Save Birmingham gameplay trailer released to celebrate the Closed Alpha Test, players can get a look at the tasty new features in store for the game. This includes a whole host of new weapons, such as the limb-lopping Scythe, plus one-handed blunt weapons such as hammers and even pieces of meat that can batter the brainless into submission.
The trailer also reveals a new guide system to help new and returning players navigate the early sections of the game, as well as crafting and destruction systems, and the ability to barricade doors against the Brummie zombie horde.
God Save Birmingham is available to wishlist on Steam now.
