Amazing news everyone! Crisol: Theater of Idols; The next title from Blumhouse Games officially has a release date set, and it's much closer than you may think! The Clockpunk survival horror title, where blood is used as a weapon, and the ultimate means of survival against strange mechanical beasts, is set for release on PC, Xbox Series, and PS5 on Feburary the 10th. It's only a couple of weeks away, and better yet, there's a demo you can play right now on Steam.
From Vermila Studios, a passionate studio of indie devs who love horror, is gearing up to release their first major game next month. This is amazing news, as this year is shaping up to produce some absolute survival horror bangers, including Crisol: Theater of Idols.
Crisol: Theater of Idols takes players into a mechanical nightmare set on the island of Tormentosa, where clockwork beasts roam and murder anyone of flesh and blood. And blood will be your lifesaver in more ways than one. Blood is the ultimate resource as it provides life, and the bullets in your guns, granting you the fighting chance you need on a range of clockwork monsters. Featuring first-person horror gameplay, with engaging exploration, brutal combat, and intense decision making as you decide whether to shed blood to fire that one critical shot, or keep your life force and make a run for it.
We loved the demo, which you can play now on Steam, and you can check out our preview/thoughts here, and you can watch the release date reveal trailer below.
Stay tuned and get ready to shed blood on February 10th when Crisol: Theater of Idols releases for PC, Xbox Series, and PS5.
