Kraków-based developer Baltoro Games, the team behind hits like Pixel Cafe and Urban Flow, has officially unveiled its latest high-octane project: Moto Rush Reborn. Blending classic arcade racing with a dark, supernatural narrative, the title challenges players to navigate the congested, neon-drenched streets of a futuristic Tokyo while battling demonic possession.

Following the success of its 2019 predecessor, Moto Rush GT—which moved over 1,000,000 copies on consoles—this indirect sequel reinvents the franchise with a bold new aesthetic and an original storyline. Players take on the role of a racer who, after a near-fatal crash, discovers a possessed engine in a junkyard. The demon offers unimaginable power and speeds of up to 299 km/h, but at a terrifying cost.

High-Stakes Gameplay

The game features 45 handcrafted levels, each pushing players to master a variety of maneuvers. To survive the "whiplash-inducing" speeds, racers must weave through dense traffic, pop wheelies for acceleration boosts, and launch off ramps over the city’s skyline. The environments are highly interactive; you’ll find yourself shredding through power plants, sliding through collapsing tunnels, and even smashing through the windows of a neon shopping mall.

Progression is tied to three core skill objectives per level:

Record Time: Achieving the fastest possible finish.

Zero Demolition: Navigating the track without a single collision.

Near Misses: Earning points by grazing traffic at high speeds.

A Manga-Driven Narrative

Unique to this entry is the integration of hand-drawn manga pages. By collecting hidden "Demonic Symbols" scattered across the tracks, players unlock panels that reveal the unfolding story of their struggle against the darkness. While these symbols are easy to spot in early stages, they become increasingly difficult to locate as the difficulty spikes.

Moto Rush Reborn is set to launch on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. For those eager to test their reflexes, a demo will be available on Steam shortly.
