Arch Rebels has officially announced the launch date for its atmospheric single-player paranormal thriller, GHOST CAM. The game will release on January 19, 2026, for PC (Steam) and Meta VR headsets, with the announcement made during the "Women-Led Games Showcase: The Game Awards Edition."

GHOST CAM invites players to step behind the lens of a Polaroid-style camera—which serves as their only defense—and explore shifting, surreal, and liminal spaces. You play as a lone paranormal photographer tasked with capturing spirits, decoding spectral clues, and unraveling a mystery that changes with every entry into its haunted world. The game blends psychological horror with a unique 70s/80s "haunted horse-girl aesthetic," immersing players in eerie stables and faded childhood memories where ghostly hoofbeats echo just out of sight.

Blending escape-room-style puzzles with intense atmosphere, gameplay focuses on using the camera to uncover hidden clues and piece together spectral remnants to delve deeper into the haunted dreamscape. Not all spirits encountered are hostile; some guide, some watch, and some are determined to trap you forever. Your actions are crucial, shaping your overall Ghost Hunter ranking, unlocking hidden mysteries, and determining which of the multiple endings you will uncover.

Inspired by modern psychological horror titles, GHOST CAM is crafted as a focused solo narrative experience that provides both chilling atmosphere and high replayability. Players can choose their level of immersion, with the full experience available for Meta VR headsets or on a traditional PC screen. Prepare to test your nerves and your photography skills when GHOST CAM launches next month.
