Indie horror sequel, Tormented Souls 2, is out now

The wait is finally over for classic survival horror fans as indie developers Dual Effect bring the mid-90s chills to an entirely new generation in Tormented Souls 2, out on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Epic Games Store. Our review is in progress at this moment, but so far, after 8 hours, the game is quite fantastic!

An action-packed launch trailer throws iconic heroine Caroline Walker into the heart of the horror, revealing as yet unseen locations within the decaying town of Villa Hess as well as the twisted menagerie of new enemies that she will face while searching for her missing sister, Anna. With the stakes higher than ever, Caroline must call upon the aid of some unlikely allies and assemble a deadly arsenal of improvised weapons to survive. But as the inexorable darkness spreads, the boundaries between reality and the hellish ‘Other Side’ begin to blur, revealing a greater terror that threatens to destroy the entire world.



Following the harrowing events at Wildberger Hospital, Caroline Walker hopes for a normal life with her sister, Anna. Yet in the months that follow, Anna is haunted by visions of violence and death, compelling her to create disturbing drawings that rapidly manifest into horrifying reality.
