Video game developers Silver Lining Interactive and Ciaran Games LLC have announced that their retro-inspired shooter, Captain Wayne – Vacation Desperation, will launch on PC via Steam on November 25, 2025. The game promises a bloody, cartoon-style rampage that blends old-school first-person shooter action with a dose of nautical chaos.

In Captain Wayne – Vacation Desperation, players take on the role of the cigar-chomping protagonist, Wayne, whose tropical getaway is ruined by a ruthless mercenary gang known as the Killer Whales. Stranded on Orca Isle after a brutal ambush, Wayne's vacation quickly turns into a blood-soaked quest for revenge.

The game is a treasure chest of over-the-top violence and absurd weapons. Players can expect to use a variety of chaotic armaments, from chain-gun fingers and explosive "Boom Brew" to Wayne's "Ol' Reliable," a shotgun bolted directly onto his arm. The developers have emphasized that the game is a "stylized cartoon gore-fest," proving that bloodshed can be beautiful.

To give players a final taste of the mayhem, the game's last demo is available now on Steam. Players can experience the carnage in the "Balena Resort demo," the final stop before the game's full launch. The full game will feature eight massive, enemy-packed zones, a relentlessly chaotic soundtrack, and hand-drawn, fully-voiced cinematics.

Gamers who enjoy retro-style shooters and over-the-top action are encouraged to download the demo and wishlist Captain Wayne – Vacation Desperation to be ready when it launches this November.
