Prepare for an encore! Metronomik and Shueisha Games are thrilled to announce NSR2, the highly anticipated sequel to the hit musical adventure No Straight Roads. The rhythm-action game is set to rock its way onto PC and console platforms in 2026. Fans can add the game to their Steam Wishlist today, and the announcement trailer is now live.

NSR2 sees beloved rock stars Mayday and Zuke embarking on an epic global tour to climb the international charts. This time, their band is getting even bigger, with two new playable band members joining the crew. Each new addition brings unique musical styles and combat skills, promising fresh gameplay dynamics as players rock their way to stardom.

The game promises an action-packed experience that blends rhythm-based combat with an electrifying soundtrack. Expect all-new music from acclaimed artists such as James Landino, Falk Au Yeong, Garrett Williamson, and Midas Klare (Inverted Silence), along with additional musical guest stars. Combat has been revitalized with a greater focus on action, allowing players to fight to the beat to unleash crushing power moves and collaborative link attacks. Players will explore bigger worlds and face a huge roster of musical megabosses.

Beyond Vinyl City, players will get behind the wheel of their tour bus to traverse vibrant new locations. These environments are teeming with rival musicians and communities, each boasting unique musical cultures, from folk and experimental jazz to rebellious rock and digital pop. For Bunkbed Junction, this isn't just a tour; it's a transformation.

Wan Hazmer, CEO & Game Director at Metronomik, expressed immense excitement: "We’re taking everything players loved about the first No Straight Roads and turning it up to 11. Expect incredible music, wacky bosses and engaging, imaginative cities to explore on Bunkbed Junction’s rocketok tour across the globe!"

Tomoya Tanaka, Global Marketing Manager at Shueisha Games, added, "With the Shueisha group's heritage in bringing incredible worlds, characters and stories to fans across the globe, NSR2 is the perfect fit for our publishing portfolio."
