When is Stray coming to Xbox? And will it be on Gamepass?

The cat is out of the bag! Forgive the pun ... but good news everyone! Stray, the critically acclaimed Game Awards nominee is finally coming to Xbox on August 10th! Stray was the indie smash hit of 2022, featuring the adventure of a stray cat lost within a strange world inhabited by robots. The game gathered so much attention prior to its launch, with many fans a little upset it was a Playstation console exclusive.

Yet thankfully the year exclusivity has expired it seems and now Stray, will be playable on Xbox Series X/S and thankfully coming to the previous generation of Xbox console too. Come 10th of August, Xbox owners with Series X/S and Xbox Ones will be able to check out the highly acclaimed adventure game, featuring a cat. finding their way home after falling into a pit, and ending up in a strange cyberpunk city, where humans have died off and only robots remain, among other more sinister things.

While Stray is coming to Xbox officially, there is no word or confirmation if it will be on Gamepass. Normally when these announcements happen, there is confirmation it will be on Gamepass. It's unlikely it will for the time being, but we should be happy this awesome cat game is coming to Xbox finally.
