Remedy, the developers of the upcoming survival horror Alan Wake 2 have revealed the total time it would take to complete the main campaign. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 cult classic will last for around 20 hours, which is about twice the size of its predecessor. The game, which will be released in October, looks a lot like the original Alan Wake, but will also bring many interesting changes, such as having two protagonists, a much darker edge, and much more.
The Alan Wake sequel is finally coming out well over a decade after the cult classic's original release. Remedy have made two blockbuster titles since then, such as Control, and Quantum Break, but have decided to bring back Alan for his sequel. And the sequel is set to be quite big game indeed! During an interview with WCCFTech, the developers of Alan Wake 2 revealed that the game will last for just a bit over 20 hours, as it will have two intertwined campaigns which indeed has made the campaign longer. One campaign features the first game’s protagonist Alan Wake, and another is focused on Saga Anderson, an FBI agent. The two will be solving a mystery, but from different perspectives.
Alan Wake is set to release in October this year, on PS5, Xbox Series S/X and on Epic Games Store. Check out the trailer below for more gameplay and details.
