The original Crysis earned a legendary status and plenty of memes with its super high requirements back in 2007. Most gamers needed beasts of PC to run it fully and experience an immense next-gen game back then. Crysis was a game which was leaps ahead of its time with graphics that console gamers wouldn't see anything like it till the PS4 and Xbox One.

Funny enough, the highest graphics setting, described as a graphics mode "designed to demand every last bit of your hardware with unlimited settings," is named after a meme. Yes, it's called "Can it Run Crysis?" graphics setting.

"Can it Run Crysis?" was a legendary meme back in 2007 and haunted console gamers (and some Pc gamers) with the high requirments needed to run the original game, which was absolutely stunning!

The graphics in the new remaster are impressive, but the original game still looks pretty good even after 13 years. We won't have long to find out if everything about the remaster looks better as Crysis Remastered comes out on September 19th.
