Social impact creative consultancy, Fox & Hare, who have been delivering creative solutions to brands and charities throughout the COVID-19 crisis, today launch #ChallengeImpossible with CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading charity for young cancer patients, in support of their Player vs Cancer initiative aimed at streamers.

In this current climate, there’s been no better time for gamers to switch on their console and support young cancer patients. While the number of families in crisis who need CLIC Sargent’s support increases rapidly, CLIC Sargent is forecasting a 60% drop in income over the next six months.

CLIC Sargent and Fox & Hare have created 10 unbeatable, impossible challenges for some of the most popular gaming genres out there, and are asking gamers if they have the dedication and skill to beat them. If so, they’re being asked to stream their attempts and raise money for children and young people who have been facing the impossible task of living with cancer during this pandemic

Once they’ve chosen their #ChallengeImpossible, gamers will be encouraged to get donations through Tiltify, which uses interactive fundraising features directly into their Twitch broadcasts, streamlining the donation process and making it easier for streamers to mobilize and engage donors.

Luke Mallett, Director of Income and Engagement at CLIC Sargent said: “Like many
charities across the UK, CLIC Sargent is facing an unprecedented challenge due to the current pandemic. Our income is falling and our usual fundraising methods and activities have been put on hold. Very quickly we have had to take our fundraising online and develop new ways of fundraising with initiatives such as Player Vs Cancer.

“It’s been great working with the team at Fox & Hare on #ChallengeImpossible, we can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done and the many hours of work they’ve put into it. This is new territory for us so their time and expertise has been invaluable. They’ve really brought Challenge Impossible and the campaign around it to life, and I can’t wait to see how gamers get on with their challenges!”

Full details of the challenges, and how gamers can get involved can be found here.

It’s not only streamers who can support #ChallengeImpossible, however. Anyone can donate to show their backing to the appeal by visiting donations.clicsargent.org.uk
