Rage 2: First gameplay trailer

Rage 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Developed by Id Software and Avalanche Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, it is a sequel to 2011’s post-apocalyptic FPS Rage.

Like its predecessor, Rage 2 is a first-person shooter set in a dystopian open world – a “shooterverse,” according to Bethesda. Rage 2 also uses the same Engine that made Just Cause, rather than the Id Tech engine. Players will have access to upgradable weapons, Nanotrite powers, and Overdrive, which lets players push firearms “beyond their mechanical limits.” Vehicles play a huge role in Rage 2’s apocalyptic wasteland too, including monster trucks and gyrocopters.
